Vivo phone with 6000 mAh battery that won’t break even if submerged in water, priced at 37,000
Smartphone brand Vivo has launched a new model under its ‘Y series’, the ‘Vivo Y400’, in the Nepali market. The company has stated that this phone is targeted at users who want style, entertainment, durability, and smart performance.
Available in Pearl White or Dynamic Green, the phone features a 7.9mm metallic frame and 37% thinner display bezels. The company believes that the phone’s cushion-cut diamond camera design will give users a premium feel.
The phone features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and dual stereo speakers can boost sound by up to 400 percent. Additionally, the SGS Eye Protection certified screen is said to ensure eye safety during long-term use.

The phone features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. It offers features like underwater photography, one-tap water ejection, and AI Erase 2.0.
This model, which is IP68/69 dust and water resistant, is claimed to be safe in 2 meters of water for 30 minutes. It uses ‘wet-hand touch’ technology that allows it to be used easily even with wet hands.
The 6000mAh battery in the Vivo Y400 provides long-lasting battery life. According to the company, it is capable of providing 61 hours of music, 4 hours of video streaming, and 2 hours of gaming. The 44W FlashCharge technology takes just 30 minutes to charge from 1 percent to 50 percent.
Vivo claims that the Smart Charging Engine 2.0, Overnight Charging Protection, and 24-Dimensional Safety Monitoring feature make charging safe. The dual-module cooling system keeps the phone stable even during high performance.
The phone is based on the Snapdragon 685 (6nm) processor, which offers energy-efficient performance. It has 256GB of storage and 8GB of extended RAM. According to the company, its ’50 Month Smooth Experience’ feature ensures that performance does not decrease over time.
When it comes to AI features, the phone includes AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Documents, Screen Translation, and Circle to Search features. Additionally, the phone can be easily connected to a computer through the Link to Windows feature.
The Vivo Y400 is now available at Vivo’s official retail stores across the country and the Daraz online platform, priced at Rs 36,999.
